Being present | Zoë’s story and the gift of real family memories
Zoë lost her mom when she was just five years old. She doesn’t have many photos of her, and that absence shaped the way she shows up as a mother today. Now that she has kids of her own, she’s intentional about being present, both in their daily lives and in the frame. She’s creating memories and building traditions her children will carry with them forever.
Through her participation in Heartfelt Chapters, my year-long photography membership, Zoë shared that what she loved most was the ability to step into the frame without distraction. She was able to focus fully on her kids while life unfolded around her. The sessions allowed her to truly be present, enjoying the laughter, the play, and the small, everyday moments that together tell her family’s unique story.
Watch Being present, the third video in my Heartfelt Chapters series with Zoë, and see how choosing to be present helped her create the kind of memories she wished she had growing up.
